Hello Ladies of the LFRA 97,

       The LAFRA meeting will be held on May 21st at 7:00 pm, the final nomination for the 2009-2010 officers for the incoming year so if you still would like to be nominated for one of the LAFRA Officers here’s your last chance before elections.  Installation will be held on the same night as the Branch in June so keep you eyes and ears open for more info.  We’re still working on our fund raiser cookbook with a possibly release sometime in 2009 we still need recipes to be submitted for cookbook.  We are always looking for new members to help us with our goal in supporting the Branch with their causes and helping the community with different fundraisers. Your support would be greatly appreciated and the vast military veterans and active duty service members in our area reap great benefits from our efforts.  The monthly breakfast still continues to draw a great crowd.  If you would like to help just show up the first Sunday of the Month around 8:00 am, we have been averaging around 80 people so thank you to all of our regulars.

Auxiliary President News

Join us for breakfast hosted by the LAFRA.  They will be serving Scrambled Eggs, regular, and Ham & Cheese, Hash Browned Potatoes, Bacon, Sausage, Biscuits & Gravy, Fruits and pastries.  Cost is $6.00 per person.  Proceeds go to Scholarship Fund and Lounge improvements.  Open to the public so pass the word!
