Here at Fleet Reserve Branch 97 we offer many different types of  Programs for our community, each year we have an essay Contest and Three Scholarships that we give out to the Oak Harbor and Coupeville School Districts.  We are currently accepting application for the up coming 2007 year, if your would like to apply just click on the application like below.  The Application is in two parts so make sure you download both parts, you will also need Adobe Acrobat to read the forms.  If you need Adobe Acrobat just click on the Adobe Logo to download.

The Fleet Reserve Association is committed to support and protect the interests its members and their families. Officials maintain a strong presence in Washington and lobby to sustain and improve military-related benefits. The association  provides assistance to individuals and families by maintaining close contact with government agencies.

The Fleet Reserve Association affords special benefits for its members.   Its publications keep members informed of national and regional matters. Each member is covered by a free $1,000 accidental death and dismemberment insurance.  A scholarship program is available.  Membership is open to all enlisted personnel of the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard. To be eligible you must be active duty, reserve or retired and have had at least one day of prior enlisted service.  If you are of another branch of the U.S.  Armed Forces but have had at least one day of prior enlisted sea service,  you are also eligible.  Dues are $25.00 per year or $40.00 for 2 years.
